YES a cultural project by Studio Thom Pfister

YES is an exclamation mark. It stands for the surprising and unforeseen, for goodwill and dedication, it is an exclamation mark like a single loud word: YES! YES to the future. YES to our world. YES to wild ideas, intense feelings and unheard-of encounters.

Studio Thom Pfister has invited artists from Switzerland and abroad to explore this exclamation, this attitude to life. The result is over forty works, each one unique. Over forty works of art that together are more than the sum of their parts. They show that something greater is possible when you join forces. The works were presented as part of a four-hour ‘lightning exhibition’ in the former generator hall of the Matte power station in Bern. All of the works were available to purchase as part of the exhibition and are also reproduced in a unique, limited-edition magazine. The large-format magazine and a printed cotton bag (limited to 400 copies) could be taken home free of charge. All bags and magazines were sold out by the end of the evening.
