Swiss Bauer magazine. Studio Thom Pfister developed and implemented the entire branding. The name, logo, design concept and visual language were developed in a very short space of time. The screen design and programming of the online magazine as well as a launch event with an exhibition and a corresponding media launch campaign were also part of the brief. The result is a refreshing and modern design, characterised by a mix of staged and authentic photographs and films, expressive typography and inspiring content. The print magazine is one of the first magazines in the world to be produced entirely in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle® Gold Standard. Only materials that are safe for the natural/biological cycle are used. The new magazine thrives on ‘contrasts’ and builds bridges between town and country. The aim is to increase sustainable consumption and knowledge about local producers. Inspiring stories and impressive images under the headings of country, people, life and enjoyment give readers a real insight into the diversity of Swiss agriculture.
